The Challenge
Dreamcare Consultants is a two-person team with over a decade of experience in dementia care and care management. They wanted a professional, approachable website that reflected their expertise, their personal values, and the compassion they bring to their work. Their existing website was outdated and poorly structured, and they needed not only a new design but also guidance on technical setup, branding, and content.
My Role
The project covered design, development, copywriting, and technical consulting from start to finish. It began with in-depth discovery and interviews totaling over six hours with both founders to understand their values, services, and story, complemented by a market-analysis questionnaire to clarify the target audience. Mood boards and theme options were explored, followed by two rounds of design refinements in Figma. Squarespace was chosen for its low-maintenance setup, and the final design was implemented on the platform, with custom code added where native widgets fell short. All site copy was crafted to balance professionalism with warmth and empathy, reflecting the company’s mission. Technical setup included domain migration, Google Workspace email configuration, and correct DNS settings to ensure reliable delivery. Throughout the process, guidance on digital tools, platform management, and marketing considerations helped bring the business fully online with a polished, professional presence.
The Result
The result was a clean, professional, and approachable website that not only presented DCC’s services clearly but also conveyed the empathy and care at the heart of their work. The site positions them as both trustworthy carers and knowledgeable consultants, with a digital presence that clients and families can connect with.
